A day dedicated to Google management updates, best practices and becoming a certified Google Administrator. The early part of the day will be dedicated to discussions, problem-solving and best practices for managing your. In the afternoon those wishing to challenge the Google Administrator Certification will have the room and the opportunity. This session is BYOD.

Meals: Continental breakfast is provided. Lunch is not included unless you also attend an afternoon workshop.

Integrating STEAM in a K-5 classroom
Participants will experience hands on strategies with integrated lesson plans for several STEAM challenges. Making connections to grade level literature and multiple content standards can help educators find the time to incorporate science, technology and engineering into the K-5 classroom. Participants will also have time to create an integrated lesson plan based on a STEAM challenge.

Coaching Academy
IETC Workshops require pre-registration. Attendees must pre-register by November 6.

Participants in this workshop will explore coaching strategies to engage, inspire and build community within a school or district. As interactive experiences, participants will engage in activities as their staff members would during professional growth opportunities. Participants will leave with a deep understanding of professional growth and the coaching cycle along with proven research to enhance the development of teachers.

The work we will do together provides real, rubber to the road strategies to incorporate job-embedded opportunities and creative options for strategic and ongoing support. We explore questioning techniques, unique ways to approach brainstorming, building a culture of learning and more through leveraging digital learning tools and research. We approach our time together with high energy but also allows for reflection so that participants can consider and re-imagine coaching opportunities in their own school or district.
